Heavy Rains In Both Telugu States

Heavy rains have been lashing both the Telugu states from the past two days, though monsoon set in late. Already in coastal areas and Rayalaseema in Andhra Pradesh (AP) excess rainfall has been recorded, meteorological officials said. The rains caused havoc at Singareni and Ramagundam coal mines, stopping coal production altogether. Godavari river is overflowing. Moderate rainfall was recorded in Telangana.
