Rain continues to lash twin cities

Heavy rains lashed many parts of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad on Tuesday morning. Motorists and two-wheeler drivers had a tough time as several main roads were water-logged due to the rains.Many low-lying areas were also flooded. The heavy rain lashed LB Nagar, Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet, Tarnaka, Osmania University area, Lalaguda, Habsiguda, Nacharam, Mallapur, Secunderabad.Recorded rainfall in different places as Nalgonda -6 Cm., Hyderabad-3 Cm., Medak- 3 Cm, Adilabad-2 Cm, Karimnagar-2 Cm, Mahabubnagar- 2 Cm, Warangal-2 Cm, Nizamabad-1.5 Cm, Rangareddy-3.2 Mm and Khammam-4.8 Mm.Meanwhile, the weather office said the city and other parts of Telangana might receive more rains during the next 48 hours.
