TDP MPs stage dharna at Parliament

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MPs on Monday organized a dharna at the Gandhi statue in Parliament complex in challenge against the disavowal of Special Category Status (SCS) for Andhra Pradesh (AP).

Prior, the TDP MPs met at their gathering office in Parliament and examined about the system to be embraced to bring the weight on the Center over exceptional status. MPs have likewise investigated approaches to take forward the fomentation.

MP Jayadev Galla likewise took an interest in the dharna. Union Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju has extended his backing to the disturbance. Jayadev Galla blamed Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for keeping up quiet on the issue. Another MP, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, censured the way the Center is treating the issue. MP Shivaprasad said they would present a reminder to the Prime Minister.

CM Ramesh has by and by repeated that the disturbance will proceed until the issue is determined. “We have asked for Prime Minister’s arrangement. We’ll settle on future strategy,” he said.While proceeding in the NDA government, TDP has chosen to keep up weight on the Center for getting Special state.
