Supreme Court Give Clarification Over Third Gender

Lesbians, gay people and bisexuals don’t merit the same treatment as transgenders, said the Supreme Court on Thursday, illuminating that its prior choice perceiving eunuchs as the third sexual orientation was implied for transgenders alone.

The illumination went ahead an application moved by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment looking for meaning of transgenders for reasons for giving them reservation in occupations under Other Backward Classes (OBC) classification, as coordinated by the court on April 15, 2014.
